Koori Ding (b. 1998, Beijing) lives and works between Shanghai, Beijing, and Sichuan, currently based in Shanghai.

Koori approaches painting as a generative poetic structure, exploring how language, sound, and intuition shape shifting spatial relationships within visual systems. Through sustained research into contemporary landscapes and informal forms of knowledge, he examines borderland situations shaped by intersecting systems and the visual logics that emerge from them. In his paintings, relationships between foreground and background, proximity and distance, remain unstable. Forms sometimes resemble symbols or traces of writing, forming visual structures akin to poetic syntax. Images function less as vehicles for narrative than as spatial devices through which perception and consciousness unfold.

Drawing on classical poetics, modern poetry, contemporary literature, and tonal languages, Koori conceives of painting as a spatial mode of thought, where language becomes structure and rhythm replaces narrative. His works emerge through the simultaneous construction and dismantling of systems, generating visual fields that remain self-aware and continuously self-adjusting.

丁艺杰 (dīng yì jié)，1998年出生于北京，生活和工作于上海、北京与四川，现主要工作于上海。

丁艺杰将绘画视为一种生成性的诗性结构，探索语言、声音与直觉如何在视觉系统中塑造不断变化的空间关系。通过对当代景观与非正式知识形态的持续研究，他关注不同系统相互交织所形成的边境情境，以及由此产生的视觉逻辑。在他的绘画中，前景与背景、远近之间的关系始终处于不稳定的状态。画面中的形态有时近似符号或书写痕迹，并由此形成类似诗歌句法的视觉结构。图像不再主要承担叙事功能，而是成为感知与意识得以展开的空间媒介。

受到古典诗学、现代诗歌、当代文学与声调语言的启发，丁艺杰将绘画视为一种空间化的思维方式，其中语言转化为结构，节奏取代叙事。他的作品在系统的构建与解构过程中生成，形成具有自我意识并持续自我调整的视觉场域。

都市と農村の奥地を遊走する画家と詩人として、彼の創作は絵画を生成的な詩的構造とし、言語、音と直感が視覚系の中でどのようにずれ、共感、統合されているのかを探索し続けた。現代の光景、民族言語、伝統と非公式知識を口述する長期的な研究を通じて、彼は複合システム下の国境シーンに注目し、これらのシーンの中で擬態システムとその視覚論理を作成した。その絵画の実践は繰り返し、断裂と直感を基本的な操作方式とし、詩の構文に近い視覚構造を構築し、画像が叙事機能を担うのではなく、知覚と意識の流れの空間装置となるようにした。長期的なフィールド調査の経験は、言語、構造、意図が作品の中で絶えず抽出され、変位し、シミュレーションされるように、非線形の方法論を提供してきた。

古典詩学、現代詩歌、現代文学と声調言語の交差する影響の下で、こおりは絵画を空間化した思考形式と見なしている：言語は構造になり、リズムは叙事に取って代わる。その作品はシステムの構築と解体の間に生成され、持続的な自己修正、自己意識の明確な視覚フィールドを形成している。
